on an unrelated note, someone told me that we start immitating the one we love - if we want to or not. i thought that was fascinating, and it made me think of how i’m convinced that it takes good observation in order to be a good immitator, but maybe it’s just that good observation makes you a good immitator, i don’t even know what i’m talking about because it’s half...

i went downtown earlier to meet a friend, drink some tea and revise maths and there was this little band playing jazz next to the cafe and it was just really nice. then we went to visit m. who works in a record shop nearby and when we came back they were doing strange sounds with waterbottles and microphones underwater and just… why the fuck don’t we do this all the time?

i did send the letter. i ended up writing four pages. it should have arrived when he gets back home from school tomorrow. we’ll see. his best friend’s going to visit tomorrow too, we’ll go out drinking, maybe he’ll already know about the letter
